Draw in drafting table
Front of drafting table

Most drafting tables have adjustments built in for height, tilt, foot rest etc.. I built this piece for myself and after many hours of study, I concluded on what is the perfect table for me. What intrigues me about this piece is its skeletal elements expressed in oak and koa woods. While today's CAD programs are the norm, I believe there is something lost in the creative process if the hand drawn sketches and designs are never explored (experienced). The drafting experience is part of the creative experience and the design will evolve continually during the hand drawing process.
